Our roots are in the Lloyd’s market. Compass International was originally Lloyd’s Syndicate 1242, however, a process of evolution began in 1986 when we started the journey to becoming an intermediary. This transformation gives us a unique insight into the underwriting process, to the benefit of our clients.

While Compass is based in London it accesses markets elsewhere in the UK and Europe. Our main focus is Lloyd’s and specialist underwriters in the square mile, but we also work with markets in a number of territories.
